From 12 months onward, children should be able to eat a variety of foods including meals and snacks that the whole family can enjoy.
· Full-cream cow’s milk can now be introduced as a drink
· Children should be able to use a cup by themselves and can give up the bottle –Bottle feeding for too long can lead to tooth decay and ear infections.
· Breastfeeding can continue as long as mother and baby desire
· Toddler formulas offer no nutritional advantage
· Low-fat and reduced-fat milks are not recommended before age 2
